    Description

William McKinley: Great Gold Bug Brooch. Back in 1896, you were either a gold bug or a silver bug. This gold bug is really unusual. It has eight legs, so it must be a spider (couldn't they have made it a butterfly? I hate spiders!). There is a paper portrait under glass of McKinley. It measures 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" and has a three-dimensional quality. It is in great shape. This is the Hake book plate specimen.
