Description

William McKinley: Classic Eclipse Button. Inspired perhaps by the celestial events of 1900, this 1 ¼" celluloid real photo button, predicts that Republican William McKinley will perform a total eclipse of Democrat William Jennings Bryan in November. It retains the Indianapolis Photo Button Manufacturing back paper and is in superb condition. The "eclipse" pins were only issued in the election of 1900. From the Geary Vlk Collection.
