Description

William Jennings Bryan: Coat-tail Jugate Picturing Congressman William Sulzer. Pictured here with Bryan is Sulzer who was first elected to the 54th United States Congress in 1895 and served as a U.S. representative from New York until 1912. Later he became one of the few American governors to be impeached. This particular example is a variety that we have not seen before, manufactured by the National Equipment Co in New York. Near mint condition except for a small spec on Sulzer's head which is under the celluloid and obviously came about during manufacturing. This does not detract from the unusual 1ΒΌ" rarity.
