William Jennings Bryan: A Very Rare, Large Kentucky "Coat-tail" Button. This attractive 1¾" variety has always been considered one of the premier Bryan "coat-tail" items. On the rare occasions when it appears for sale, this button is normally seen with staining. This is a near perfect copy; surely the finest we have seen. For accuracy, we note one trivial very light small spot in the field to the left of Bryan's portrait, and two similar ones to the left of Beckham's. One more similar spot is barely visible on the rim at 8:00. Overall distinctly superior condition for any large, white-background pinback of this era, let alone for this particular variety.
