Description
Theodore Roosevelt: "Platform" Scale Cartoon Pin. The 1904 Republican is formally attired and holds his silk top hat while standing on a platform scale inscribed "Roosevelt-Fairbanks". This may be related to the Fairbanks Scale Company famous for producing two of the better cartoon pins of 1904 ("Good Scales, Teddy" and "You're It, Judge!").Condition: F. F. Pulver back paper. Three celluloid splits which are just barely visible when viewed from the front. It displays in near-mint condition.
