Description

Roosevelt & Johnson: Impressive St. Louis Button Company Jugate. 1 1/4" jugate for the 1912 Bull Moose candidates, worn by a delegate to the "Missouri State Convention St. Louis, 1912". Mounted on a red, white and blue rosette with attached ribbons, one reading "Progressive". This is a wonderful design used on buttons from 1904 through 1920, most notably for Cox and Harding. This is a very clean example with bold portraits and minty appearance.
