Rare 1896-Dated Grover Cleveland Button From The Democratic National Convention
Cleveland was the incumbent president, of course, as well as a third term "hopeful" (as he was again in 1904). This unusual 1 1/4" pin touts the "Democratic Doctrines... Reliable Money, Equal Rights, Monroe Doctrine." Signified by the initials "REM," which are seen on other Democrat campaign items of that time. A great button in great condition. Although we are told that one other exists, we've never seen another.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
