Rare 1 1/4" Theodore Roosevelt Pinback- Undoubtedly a Souvenir of the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. T.R. was a great backer of the Fair project, and was a ballyhooed visitor, so quite possibly this item was issued for his appearance. Extremely rare at the very least; we cannot recall encountering another. There is a bit of trivial light rim foxing to the front at 3 o'clock. What appears to be staining in the dark field at 2 - 3 o'clock is apparently in the original sepia photo, as it does not extend into the cream-colored border. All-in-all, a specimen which even a condition-conscious collector will be able to live with.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
