James M. Cox: A Great 1920 Campaign Pinback Rarity. Along with its Harding mate which shows the Republican nominee superimposed over an elephant, they form one of the rarest and most desired pairs from this key election. This is a beautiful example from the legendary Kenton Broyles collection, and comes with the original celluloid donkey and red, white, and blue connecting ribbon. Strong white background which is seldom found on this variety. For the strictest accuracy we note a little very, very light mottling in the field, only noticeable if one looks for it. Buttons in this condition tend to photograph somewhat darker than they are, and catalog photographs tend to exaggerate this effect. Hopefully an enlarged image on our website will depict it accurately, but serious bidders are invited to call to discuss the condition if they feel the need. An example worthy of the most sophisticated collection. Diameter 1¼".
