Harry S Truman: The Very Scarce Truman, Minnesota Golden Jubilee Button. Of course the town was not named after the president, having acquired its name in 1899. But it apparently seemed appropriate to picture the incumbent president on this limited-distribution issue made for their big celebration on June 17 and 18, 1949. Perhaps the weather was rainy, for it seems like a high percentage of the examples seen have moisture spotting. However this copy is a near mint beauty. For accuracy we note two trivial circular areas at 3:00 caused by a slight flaw in the lamination process. However, one would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this tough variety. Diameter 2¼".

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
