CLASSIC MULTICOLOR 1904 "SHURE MIKE" PARKER DAVIS JUGATE. Great 1 1/4" design, with rooster dressed as Uncle Sam (the rooster was often a Democratic symbol up to about 1920, when the donkey begins to predoninate).  No one seems to know what "Shur Mike" refers to, but some day this bit of trivia will surface.  Choice and perfectly centered, and so hard to find so.  Of all notable early button varieties this and the "San Juan Hill" TR are the two most prone to condition problems; the overwhelming majority of known examples are imperfect (usually seriously so).  We have always felt that, in the context of pricing of other Parker-Davis jugates, this beautiful and appealing variety is under priced in this condition!

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
