    Description

1948 HENRY WALLACE COAT-TAIL BUTTON. Very rare 1 1/2" 1948 Henry Wallace coat-tail button, endorsing an African-American congressional candidate.  "On the Wallace Ticket, Independent Progressive Party."  One of the best Wallace buttons; only a few known.  Condition is super (it appears to be yellowed, but this unusual yellowish-cream is its natural background color).
