    Macerated Currency: Assorted Souvenirs. Fourteen items of recycled, macerated currency dating from the first two decades of the 20th century. They include: a Washington Monument, a pitcher, a seated cat, a shoe with a cat bobble head, an ax, a Lincoln profile, a Washington profile, an eagle with its original hanging ribbon, a Capitol building, a top hat, a heeled shoe and three plaques (George Washington and two views of the Capitol). All of these pieces show normal wear and handling. The only serious problem is the ax handle which has been broken and reglued.
