    Description

GREAT U.S. GRANT CAMPAIGN BELT. Formed of 32 interlocking brass shell portraits (each sections has 2 shells, back-to-back).  Nice civilian bust of Grant on each.  Probably went with a political parade uniform from one of the many marching units which were an important part of political campaigning durning that era.  Great condition.  While we have encountered the undivided 1 1/4" shells from time to time, this is the first complete belt we have seen.  Super item!
