[Theodore Roosevelt] Lot of Items Associated with "The Roosevelt" Automobile. A most interesting group of items associated with the Marmon-built "The Roosevelt" motorcar, manufactured in the years 1929 and 1930. Included are two advertising postcards listing the specifications for the automobile and most importantly the price - $995. The reverse side of each card has a pre-printed one cent postage stamp. Both cards have toned a bit but otherwise are in excellent condition. Crowning the group is an original oval radiator emblem of white enamel on metal with the profile of the car's namesake, Theodore Roosevelt. The car company chose the name because of Teddy's "strength, character, and ruggedness". Accompanying the group is an eight-page photocopied history of the car taken from an article in a magazine. A most interesting group of items from America's golden age of automobiles in fine condition.
