John C. Frémont: "Rocky Mountain Club" Broadside. 18 3/4" x 14 5/8" (sight), matted and framed to an overall size of 26 1/2" x 22 1/2". Rare hand-colored map from the 1856 Presidential campaign. Published by C. F. Bradley & Company of Cincinnati. It features a large portrait of Frémont at the top of the piece. Titled "Political Chart of the Unites States with a comparative statistical view of North and South". This was a hot topic during the campaign of 1856. Issued by the "Rocky Mountain Club of Springfield, Ohio." While most of these political charts are generic in nature, this example is noteworthy as it was commissioned by a Frémont Republican club. Loss to upper left corner, some damp stains and short border tears. Not examined outside of frame. Selections from the Collection of Tom Charles Huston.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
