    Description

James A. Garfield: Awesome Porcelain Charger. 14" porcelain charger with central portrait of Garfield facing right, clothed in a cloak or toga, surrounded by a wreath of three-dimension "bone china" roses and lilac blossoms. Loss to one leaf in the 9 o'clock position and one rose metal on the opposite side. The leaves are painted in shades of green with gold highlights. Would benefit from a very gentle cleaning and "air dry". An exceptional piece.
From the collection of Ed Sullivan.
