    Benjamin Harrison: Pair of Inauguration Ribbon Badges. Pair of nearly identical 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" satin ribbons worn by members of the "Salem Republican Flambeau Club" at the March 4, 1889 inauguration of Benjamin Harrison. One example has an applied American flag panel in the middle, while the other has a fancy cardboard badge for Harrison. Both have metallic thread tassels at the bottom and bows at the top. Made by Torsch & Lee of Baltimore. Some minor wear, lacking stickpin attachments.
