    Description

1877 Hayes & Wheeler Jugate Inauguration Sheet Music titled "Inauguration Grand March Respectfully Dedicated to the President and Vice President of the United States" by Carl Strandberg (New York: Wm. A. Pond & Co., 1877), 6 pages, 4to (10.5" x 13.5"). A great jugate cover with oval-shaped engravings of both Rutherford B. Hayes and William Wheeler make this a fine display item. After the long campaign and disputed 1876 election, many people were probably too tired to march! Very good condition with some light soiling and roughness to the edges, hand-sewn binding.
