George V. Sinclair, Roosevelt in the Jungle (Akron, Ohio: The Saalfield Publishing Company, n.d.), 14 pp., folio (9.5" x 14.25"), board covers. The front endpaper is inscribed in pencil, "Helen Jamison from Uncle Tom 1910". This very rare children's book contains six full color mechanical lithographs depicting Teddy's fictional African adventures with various animals. Various elements of each picture move when one pulls a tab at the bottom of the page. Some chipping, moderate browning to title page. Loose binding, however quite presentable with vibrant color graphics. Saalfield was a premier publisher of juvenile material for the first three quarters of the 20th century.
