Tilden & Hendricks: Bold Ferrotype Jugate with Scarce Stickpin. 1) 23 mm badge with ferrotype portraits of "Tilden & Hendricks" within a bevelled silvered brass frame. Bubbling at the top of Tilden's head; otherwise, the emulsion surface is smooth & glossy. When viewed straight on, it appears quite minty! 2) Single portrait cardboard stickpin for "Samuel J. Tilden" set within an ornate 25 mm brass shell frame. Very light scratch on portrait (seen only at an angle) which is a little light, as made. Quite unusual.

N.B. The stickpin on the jugate has broken off near the top and been glued back into position. While no longer functional, the display appearance is unhindered.

You reach a customer base that is in many ways completely unknown to the major auction houses, and your marketing to this base is as professional as one could hope for. As I continue to wind down my holdings.
