    Description

STUNNING, MINT LINCOLN FERROTYPE POCKET PIECE. Stunning, mint Lincoln ferrotype pocket piece, c. 1863-64.  An unusual tintype portrait is set in a lovely round gutta percha case, with screw-on lid to protect it for carrying in one's pocket. The ferro is almost 1 1/4" in diameter, bigger than a quarter!  The only example we've ever seen of this gorgeous Lincoln item.
