Scarce 1860 Breckinridge/Lane Ferrotype
Of the four 1860 tickets, these Southern Democrats are definitely the toughest for collectors (perhaps because these items, manufactured in the North, would have had limited marketability there, as Breckinridge drew most of his support from Southern states). 1860-dated brass frame, with reeded edge. Similar to JCB-1860-21 in Sullivan, and Breckinridge 3010 in Hake. Both sides have choice appearance. Breckinridge is just a little dark (as manufactured). The Lane side has a trivial fine concentric fault in the surface emulsion encircling the portrait. 25 mm. From the Joe Brown Collection.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
