    Description

Grant & Colfax and Seymour & Blair: Pair of Large "Porthole" Jugates.
USG-1868-45 and HS-1868-13, 35 mm silvered brass shell. The Grant retains a small amount of the original silvering. The portraits are somewhat soft-focus with some handling marks and dings on the Grant and some emulsion squiggles and pitting on the Colfax. That said, it displays quite well with bold portraits. The Seymour is pristine, retaining practically all of its original silvering. It is outstanding in all respects. From the Collection of David and Janice Frent.
