    Douglas & Johnson: A Rare 1860 Jugate Ferrotype. The Douglas & Johnson is the scarcest of the four varieties of 1860 unisides, which are highly important as the first photographic campaign jugate badges. Minor surface flecks, a large scrape on Johnson, and a chip in the field at 12:30 as shown. Pin missing on reverse. Nonetheless, a displayable example of an item which will run $3000-$5000 in top condition. Diameter 21mm. From the U. I. "Chick" and Cecilia Harris Collection.
