Butler & West: Awesome and Exceptional National Greenback Labor Party Cardboard Jugate in Choice Condition. Similar to JGB-1884-30, 32 mm x 42 mm copper shell. Comes with the original pin (present, but detached) and satin "flag" ribbon. The portraits are superb - clean as a whistle! Along with Streeter & Cunningham, the toughest Third Party jugate of the 1860-1892 period (we are unaware of the existence of a Weaver & Chambers cardboard jugate). Butler was quite a character and his campaign items, though few in number (except for ballots) are avidly collected. We believe there was an example in the Chick Harris Collection (though not as nice), but certainly there are five or less still extant. An opportunity not to be missed!
