    Description

Bell & Everett: Scarce 1860 Donut-Framed Ferrotype in Choice Condition. This is the smallest of the four sizes in which these distinctive frames were made. In this size, the Bell is significantly rarer than the Lincoln or Douglas versions, although the Breckenridge remains the toughest of the four tickets in this frame as well. A virtually pristine copy with much of the original silvering still present on the brass shell frame. Original purple suspension ribbon at top. Diameter 23mm.
