    Description

Abraham Lincoln: Big Doughnut Back-to-back Ferrotype. AL-1860-121, 47mm copper shell. Portraits of Lincoln & Hamlin on either side with their names in large, bold lettering. Each ferrotype has minor faint crazing over the entire surface plus some minor chipping to the blank outer border. Both portraits sharp with good contrast, slightly dark as made. Overall, a nice example of this rarity with only three other auction appearances (Zabriskie Sale, Railsplitter auction ex: Dr. Edmund Sullivan and Heritage).
