    Description

EXTREMELY RARE AND SOUGHT-AFTER "I WOULD ROW WILSON AND MARSHALL TO VICTORY" 1 1/4' BUTTON. Gorgeous and uniquely-designed rarity; only several are known.  A great favorite of "old-time" collectors, it was considered virtually on a par with a Cox-Roosevelt 40 years ago!  Has moderate overall foxing, but it tends to blend into the busy, colorful design because of its uniformity.  Colors are vivid and strong: ironically a "minty" button but for the foxing.  This is the acutual U. I. "Chick Harris Collection example, which auctioned for $3875 in our Harris sale.  Easily worth $15,000 - in top condition.  If there was ever a time to compromise on condition, this is it!
