Cox & Roosevelt: Highly Desirable Sepia Jugate.
5/8" celluloid pinback with portraits of "Cox and Roosevelt". This design also comes in 7/8" and 1 1/4" with the 7/8" version being the one most frequently seen (and very infrequently, at that!). This example has a very fine crack or scratch in the celluloid surface that runs through the portraits, but does not extend to the edges of the button. When placed in a Riker mount and viewed normally, the defect is not even apparent. The button is clean and well-centered and comes with the original Whitehead & Hoag back paper. A good opportunity to acquire the "Holy Grail" of 20th century campaign buttons at an "affordable" price!
