    Description

    Andrew Jackson: Exceptional New York Broadside from 1828. 15" x 22" broadside titled "Jackson Ticket." It lists the Democratic candidates, including Andrew Jackson, John C. Calhoun, and New York gubernatorial candidate Martin Van Buren. The bottom has an "Address" delivered at the convention held in New Paltz on October 22, 1828. Not a newspaper broadside, but a stand-alone broadside, printed on one side only. Normal folds. One small stain in center with a small hole in the blank field at extreme right. Fully intact and in great shape. A prize item for the pre-96 collector!
