    Description

Andrew Jackson: Blue Ground Copper Lustre Pitcher. "General Jackson The Hero of New Orleans" is shown on either side of this 5.25" tall copper lustre pitcher with sloping sides on a blue ground. This comes in different sizes and this is one of the smaller ones which makes for ease of display. It has one inconsequential tiny chip on the inside of the spout. One transfer is perfect and one has a diagonal scratch across Jackson's forehead. These were produced either in 1824 or 1828 and are considered some of the first campaign items. The combination of blue and copper is particularly appealing.
