    Description

AbrahamLincoln: Stunning Multicolor China Plate picturing Lincoln with Grant and Sherman.
Unquestionably issued during Lincoln's lifetime, and probably dates to 1864 when Grant and Sherman were popular military heroes. The vivid colors and patriotic theme clearly indicate this to be a pre-assassination issue. Along with its three-dimensional companion pieces, this is perhaps the most beautiful and rare of all Lincoln ceramic items. Measuring 7.25" in diameter. One minor edge nick at the right edge, else in excellent condition.
