    Abraham Lincoln: Seven 1860 Hardbound Campaign Biographies. Group of seven books, all bound in cloth and all published in 1860, each measuring approximately 5" x 8". 1) M-20 "Life of Abraham Lincoln" by Joseph Barrett (general wear, bumped corners, stain that runs through the first 23 pages). 2) M-24, "The Life and Public Services of Hon. Abraham Lincoln" by David Bartlett (a fine copy with gold-stamped portrait of Lincoln and his axe on the spine). 3) M-25, "[Authorized Edition.] The Life and Public Services of Hon. Abraham Lincoln" by David Bartlett (bumped corners, lacking frontispiece and pages that precede the title page). 4) ibid., a very fine copy of the preceding. 5) M-44, "Lives and Speeches of Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin" by William Dean Howells. Spine gold-stamped "Lives of Lincoln and Hamlin. Wells & Hayes (bumped corners, fading to spine; otherwise, very good). 6) M-89, "Wide-Awake Edition. The Life and Speeches of Abraham Lincoln" (chipping and fading to spine, good overall). 7) M-88, "Wells' Illustrated National Campaign Hand-Book for 1860" (fair condition, binding separated from text block).
