    Description

    Zachary Taylor: Very Rare Sulfide Glass Paperweight with His Portrait. Detailed military bust with "Taylor" lettered across the bottom, set in rich wine-colored glass. Truly exceptional condition, with an almost perfect surface and virtually no interior flaws. One shallow chip on the side below his portrait is not visible when the piece is viewed from the top, and is hardly noticeable in any case. Sulfides like this are highly collectible, and the interest extends well beyond our political fraternity. Diameter 2.625", height 1.75". From the collection of U. I. "Chick" Harris.
