    Description

Zachary Taylor: The Rare "Corn For The World" Variety Of Blown Glass Pint Flask. This is not to be confused with the more frequently seen varieties. The design here is distinctly different. Taylor faces right, with his name curved above the portrait and "Rough & Ready" below. The reverse pictures a full corn stalk, surrounded by the slogan "Corn for the World". Color is nearly clear, a very light aqua tint. Choice condition but for one very tiny chip on the top rim. There is a very slight hint of milky-ness to the glass noted, only for strictest of accuracy. The first example we have handled of this distinctive variety.
