William Henry Harrison: Outstanding Campaign Snuff Box Picturing a bold civilian portrait of the 1840 Log Cabin and Hard Cider Candidate on the lid, this period papier- mâché snuff box is 3 1/4" in diameter. A panel across his chest reads "William Henri [sic] Harrison of Ohio." The portrait is printed in black and gold. Save for some minor chipping on the bottom rim and normal, light crazing on the portrait, it is in excellent condition. This box was obtained at a Vermont estate sale and contains two scraps of provenance, describing it as a "Souvenir of the Presidential Campaign of 1840". Harrison snuff boxes are much scarcer than those for Jackson, Van Buren, Clay or Taylor.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
