    Description

William Henry Harrison: "Columbian Star" Campaign Cup. Brown transfers, 2.5" high and 5.5" in diameter. On each side and in the bottom of the cup is the ubiquitous Harrison log cabin, the principle device of his 1840 campaign. The bottom is marked "Columbian Star / Oct. 28th 1840 / Jno. Ridgway". This example has darkened in the bowl and around the base with typical crazing due to age. A very fine hairline can barely be seen on the rim. A fine example.
