Washington & Taylor Quart Size Historical Cobalt Blue Flask. Embossed with portraits of Washington on one side and Taylor on the other; the slogans surrounding each read "The Father of His Country/ A Little More Grape Captain Bragg. " The slogan around Taylor refers to Taylor's command to Braxton Bragg at the battle of Buena Vista, a slogan that carried him to the White House in 1848. A rare and desirable color for historical bottle collectors with sheared lip and blow pipe pontil made by Dyottville Glass Works of Philadelphia, 1835-1850. good embossing with very little high point wear. On the Washington portrait seam is a small glass bubble or blister that was probably in the making. This example is often sought by political collectors and glass collectors alike but to offer it here in this exquisite condition in this gorgeous color is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
