Ulysses S. Grant: White House Demi-tasse Cup & Saucer. Though similar in design and coloration to the White House china used in the Lincoln Administration, this cup & saucer was part of the service that saw use when Grant occupied the White House. The 4.75" saucer has a mark indicating it was made by Haviland for J. W. Boteler & Brothers of Washington. The 2.5" cup, marked "J. W. Boteler & Bro." was broken in two at one time and has since been neatly repaired. This is most apparent when examining the stem. It displays beautifully and is quite a lovely set.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
