Triumviri Americani Signed Photograph of a Design for a Medallion by William Miller, c.1869, 15" in diameter, attractively framed (23" overall). Clearly signed below the central figures, "Miss Nellie L. Conyers with Wm. Miller's Complements". Water stains to the mounting boards and minor fading to the photograph, else, very good.

The central portion of the photograph consists of a circular picture or medallion, in which are represented the heads, in profile, of Washington, Lincoln, and Grant. Surrounding this picture is a circular border; and in the space between the border and the central picture, and immediately above the latter, are the words, "Triumviri Americani", and beneath the picture, the words, "Pater, 1787; Salvator, 1861; Custos, 1869."

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
