Superb William Henry Harrison Copper Luster Pitcher, A Campaign Issue From 1840. These copper luster pieces are among the most prized political 3-D items. They are found in various sizes and forms for both Jackson and Harrison, but all are rare. Surprising, Harrison is the tougher of the two in this form. Copper luster pitchers are notorious for condition problems such as flaking, chipping, and cracks. This beauty is almost flawless, with only a trivial worn patch on the real side of the base, and a similar bit of wear on the inside of the pouring of the lip, neither of which detracts in the slightest, but are noted for accuracy. Height 5.25".
