John Adams: Massive Creamware Punch Bowl, the Finest Presidential Liverpool Piece We Have Ever Handled. It is hard to imagine a more spectacular display item for perhaps the toughest president for whom to find nice items. Most familiar are typical Liverpool pitchers picturing Adams, and while those are found in several variations, the total population in the hobby is probably not more than a dozen examples. This behemoth, however, is in a class by itself. Among the four large transfers around the sides is an image of Adam surrounded by female figures representing "Plenty," "Justice," and a cherub holding a Liberty Cap on a pole. Below, in bold letters: "John Adams President of the United States". Completing the decoration around the sides are a pastoral scene, an elaborate vignette of Neptune, a wonderful map of the new American republic flanked by patriotic imagery, and a clearly recognizable standing George Washington with sword drawn. In the interior is a huge image of the war ship Reuben Jones with color accents including a vivid red, white, and blue American flag. This bowl is in superb condition with uniformly strong, bold transfers, and is worthy of the first private or institutional collection. Diameter 13.25". Height 6".

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
