    Description

Grover Cleveland and Benjamin Harrison: Classic Bisque Scales by Which One Might "Weigh" the Candidates. Among collectors, this is one of the most popular political display items of the late 19th century. Nicely handpainted, the candidates are wrapped in flags and hung from a wooden bar. These are prone to damage to the delicate bisque figures, but this pair is in choice condition. Diameter 6". From the U. I. "Chick" and Cecilia Harris Collection.
