George Washington: Truly Exceptional Liverpool Memorial Pitcher, Also Picturing Jefferson, Adams, and Franklin! The mourning transfer on the front is of a familiar style, but differs from those examples, featuring an uncommon George Washington portrait. Lady Liberty weeps at the base of his memorial obelisk, "America in Tears" below, but the reverse side bears the more interesting transfer: a standing figure of Liberty with an American flag flanked by small oval portraits of American historical figures, beginning with Columbus and ending with John Adams, Jefferson, and Franklin! An "affordable" substitute priced much lower than the jugs sporting larger images of the second and third presidents. Beautiful condition. Nice. Height: 8.375".
