George Washington: Long Live the President Jug. There are the GW buttons that say: "Long Live the President". Even better is this 9.5" tall Liverpool jug. A large transfer portrait of Washington appears on one side, flanked by Liberty and Justice. Justice recites a laudatory poem while Liberty exclaims "My Favorite Son." A banner below the portrait reads: "Long Live the President of the United States". The reverse has a transfer of a ship flying an early version of the American flag and says: "Commerce Trade and Peace. All Nations Joys Increase." There are four hairlines, none of which affect the transfers or structural integrity of the piece. We can detect no repairs or restorations. As far as Washington Liverpool jugs are concerned, this is about as good as it gets.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
