    Description

George McClellan: Civil War Ceramic "ABC" Plate. At one point, George B. McClellan commanded the Union forces, but he fell out of favor with Lincoln. Later, he emerged as the unsuccessful Democratic "peace" candidate running against Lincoln in 1864. This plate, depicting the grand "Arrival of General McClellan", dates from earlier in the war. Excellent condition. For accuracy, we note one trivial manufacturing flaw by the letter "D" at 3:30. Diameter 7".
