Classic Abraham Lincoln Ceramic Mug. This is the companion piece to a flat plate or saucer, produced around 1862. A portrait of a rather world-weary-looking Lincoln on each side, with the words "President Abraham Lincoln" on the field between the images. There is a trivial fine hairline in the handle, a heavier straight vertical crack in the side (located as far as it possibly could be from either portrait), and an utterly trivial tiny chip on the top rim and another small one on the base, noted only for strictest accuracy. However, any competent China restorer could easily eliminate these completely from view. The transfers are strong, not always the case on this item, and it is a nice example overall. Height 3.875".

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
