Choice 1888 Jugate Campaign-Issue Pocket Watch of Cleveland & Thurman. Well-made silver or nickel-plated watch by the Waterbury Watch Co. with engraved conjoined busts, and underneath "Democratic Candidates in 1888." Light, even surface rubbing from use, but no dings or scratches, and basically in beautiful shape cosmetically. Of course, the watch does not run (they almost never do), but we doubt the buyer will want to carry and use it, anyway. An especially nice item because the same company also produced a Harrison & Morton "mate." Both, while very scarce, are obtainable, holding out the prospect of creating a great pair! Diameter 2", and a thick watch at 0.6".
