    Description

Benjamin Harrison & Grover Cleveland: Set of Bisque Scales from the 1888 Election.
Among collectors of political display items, this charming pair has always been a favorite. Bisque diapers containing the rival candidates are suspended from the original wood and metal scale. Harrison may be moved along the bar, so that one's preferred candidate could be made to outweigh his opponent. Choice condition. These delicate bisques were vulnerable to having the projections broken off, and it is very difficult to find an example this nice. Overall width 5.5".
